Dressing up on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day is one of our favorite things! And, let’s face it.. here at KF, we just like to dress up! Feeling extra festive this time of year is super fun. It gives us plenty of reason to get dolled up in our most gorgeous winter clothing. Whether you are going to brunch, lunch or dinner for Christmas, having a fab holiday look for your meal of choice is a must. We recently played dress-up at a local resale boutique called Clotheshorse Anonymous! KF put together the perfect ensemble so that you feel ready for any holiday party ~ morning, noon, or night.
The Look
A velvet dress for Christmas is such a classic staple. Such a luxe statement-making fabric that is perfect this time of year to enjoy food with family and friends. KF pairs hers with a fab vest with faux fur accents to amp up the chic factor. Accessorized with the perfect on-trend snake print bag, a chunky gold necklace and black closed-toed heels with great details. We adore a mixture of texture and finishes to make our outfits look as rich and glam as they feel. If it’s super cold out, just add some fab black tights for added warmth and comfort.
The great thing about a wrap dress like this is it can be paired with accessories to doll it up, or can be styled down for a bit more of a relaxed feel. Either way, it’s always a timeless, elegant look. Wear a fab coat or vest (depending on the weather) when you’re going from place to place. Then, remove it to reveal how fabulous you look when you get to your destination. An ensemble like this is perfect to take you from day to night if you have multiple parties or meals to attend.
