We featured this amazing velvet wrap dress in our Christmas post. But, it’s so good we have to talk about it again. It isn’t just a holiday dress. It’s perfect for date nights, cocktails with the girls or even work. It’s all in the styling. Kathy keeps it simple and timeless with a modern twist ~ a statement pump and snakeskin clutch. It’s easy to transform this dress and style it over and over. Pair it with booties and a girl boss overcoat for work. For night time? A fabulous coat and stilettos. If it’s super cold, add in statement tights to finish off your look. Honestly, the options are endless.

One of our favorites things about this gorgeous dress? The color! The dark green almost looks black but when the light hits you can see how uniquely pretty it really is. That’s the amazing thing about this textile. It looks (and feels) so cool and different, and it’s not really a go-to in the summer months, which means now is the time to enjoy the lush look and feel that velvet allows.

Jeans

Velvet jeans? Count us in! This fun take on a closet staple is such a cool twist. It instantly elevates your look, taking it from a little more casual to full glam instantaneously for day and night. Kathy wore cool muted coral jeans with a vintage bomber jacket and leopard pumps. The mixture of textures and unique fabrics makes this outfit to die for. We’re obsessed! It’s the ideal modern day girl-on-the-go look.

KF wear’s a simple, yet fab black faux-fur lined tunic from The Brit Rose Collection, available at KF Design | Life | Style, paired with velvet jeans to elevate her look for an early dinner meeting! All black is a go-to for so many reasons. It’s chic, classic, slimming, and stylish no matter the season or the weather. The key to making a monochrome look a little more interesting? Texture! The mix of textiles, finishes and details makes this outfit anything but boring, right down to the rhinestone booties, which are the perfect finishing touch.
