Check out some of our favorite ways to style and wear this trend and KF’s tips on how to style it for work and play.

Animal Print

Cheetah, zebra, snake and leopard – oh my! Whatever print it is, we are into it! The amazing thing about animal prints is they really work as neutrals. However, they are neutrals that can make the biggest impact. They come in natural hues, so it makes it simple to incorporate in bolder patterns for a stronger statement.

KF loves to add a little animal print through her accessories. Her handbag from St Johns Knits it is the perfect on-trend addition to an overall black ensemble. It adds that little touch of spice that we crave in every outfit.

From Not Your Standard

The easiest way to incorporate this trend into your wardrobe is through shoes. There are so many from mules, to slides, to heels, to flats. A statement shoe will add a little extra something to every look whether it’s casual, formal or somewhere in between.

Make a statement with a bold print and a bold shoe. Since animal prints truly are neutrals they look fantastic paired with a bright color, so bring on the magenta and tangerine!

When making a statement in a bold full animal print look, accessorizing is key. Kathy broke up her fab snake print jumpsuit from Zara with a statement Dior belt. Matched with black Jimmy Choo strappy heels and a vintage Gucci black clutch, it is the perfect mixture of a stark black contrast so that the outfit looks well thought out and complete.

Faux Fur

In Texas, it’s still a little too warm for a faux fur jacket. But the second the weather gets cool enough, you better believe we will be pulling out the faux fur from our closets! A simple look underneath a statement coat is the easiest, yet chic look for chillier temps.

This monotone look is one of our favorite ways to style faux fur. The different mix of navy blues with different textures is a chic look that looks long and lean. A simple tee and jeans are instantly dressed up and made fabulous with the addition of faux furs and fab accessories.

Animal print faux fur is soon in! We have to say mixing these two trends is kind of fabulous! This coat is definitely a statement-maker. Layer it with a graphic tee, denim, sneakers or flats for a casual look. Or, dress it up with a fab pump.

Animals print, faux furs and textures all go hand in hand. They can work together to create a truly striking ensemble. Or, they can work separately to amplify a simple look.

Here Kathy mixes a little texture with animal print and a textured top to add extra interest to her outfit. It gives us major modern day 90’s vibes, and we are loving it. Paired with a cheetah handbag and and Hermes belt, this outfit is trendy and stylish.
