This week, the KF team visited Jack Retro, a designer vintage clothing boutique in Dallas, to try on some amazing vintage fashion and share the best way to style it out for any occasion. Kathy tried on some gorgeous pieces and styled them to make some fabulous outfits you can wear to your next brunch, for cocktails, to an evening event, or for a day at the office. KF paired vintage accessories, handbags, and jewelry with them, so you can go on your next shopping trip with your checklist in mind and head out the door looking pretty and polished, vintage style!
Brunch

Brunch outfit options are endless. Of course, it depends where you are brunching. A country club, the latest trendy restaurant, or a small French bistro will influence what you wear. The key to this outfit Kathy styled is in the finishing touches. A statement belt, contrasting bag and earrings in purple hues that pick up the subtle hints of pattern in her dress. Finished off with a hat, it’s the perfect look for a Saturday or Sunday weekend brunch.

The Office

The key to getting dressed for the office is looking professional and polished, while still fab and stylish. Jack Retro has some of the best pieces to pull this look off seamlessly for a commanding presence. A busy mom and entrepreneur, Kathy definitely knows that outfits can’t be too much work, and they must work as hard on the go as you do. Fresh and refined, vintage style makes a statement.

Cocktail Hour
Cocktail hour is so fun to dress for. You should be fun and flirty, and pretty. A little something unexpected in your outfit at the newest and trendy bar definitely goes a long way in upping your chic factor. Pairing unexpected patterns such as this snakeskin clutch and lusciously patterened dress is what makes this outfit unexpected and spectacular.

Evening

The evening is a time to be a little sexier, a little more dramatic. The key to wearing your outfit rather than letting your outfit wear you is loving what you are in. If you try on an outfit and instantly think, I can’t live without this, then it most likely looks fabulous, and you will carry yourself with confidence and grace and feel fabulous. When you feel beautiful, you look beautiful.
KF Tip ~ Always remember to stand up straight.. especially when you are making an entrance or taking a photo. The way you carry yourself makes a huge difference in the way you appear.
