KF’s Fave Colors for Home Right Now

Here at KF, we are embracing softer hues and transitioning them into our home this spring season. Muted colors and softer tones serve as a rich, neutral backdrop that is not only on trend, but completely refined and inviting as well.

Behr’s 2017 color trends are right on target as far as we are concerned here at KF. Combined or stand alone,  these colors have a modern, upscale elegance to them.  Experimenting with color is easy to do, and new paint on your walls coupled with beautifully upholstered furniture, make a lovely space more inviting and welcoming.

These muted pastels, especially blush pink, greys, and whites are on the rise for the upcoming year. Adding in a pop of color in a pillow or chair doesn’t hurt and can always be changed – if you’re opposed to painting an entire wall. Less is more, so adding in your personal touch through accent pieces and home accessories is the way to go to make subtle, yet impactful changes.

Take hues of blues and greens (the Pantone color of 2017) and try combining with greys and whites for a refreshing and modern look throughout your room. Whether it’s on the wall, bedding, or pieces of furniture, these colors and pastel tones instantly elevate your home to a new and improved modern vibe.

Soft blues with tonal textures designed by our own EIC Kathy Fielder’s Isabella Collection make a statement for your bedroom.
