Kathy’s Pick of the Week: Office Spaces
This week, Kathy’s inspiration is back to school and getting back into a routine! That being said, who better for do it yourself inspo than HGTV? We picked some of our fave office spaces and want to share how to carve out your own perfected command center in your home. There are so many ways to create a functional, yet beautiful office in your home to organize your life. Here’s some inspiration on places and spaces you might not have thought of to carve out the perfect office to sit down, get inspired, and make things happen!
Great use of an otherwise unusable space. A place to sit and work for you, and a lovely little space for kids to sit and read a book or play on their iPad. An office for the family.
A unused wall becomes a built in desk for two with plenty of space and natural light. Acrylic chairs add a pop of color while keeping things light and airy visually.
Who doesn’t need a place to sit down and get organized or pull a recipe in your kitchen, or even help kiddos finish up a school project while cooking dinner. This perfectly planned little area gives amazing storage and functionality, while maintaining complete continuity with the room.
An amazing office space to use and focus your attention. Designated areas allow this space to allocate appropriate space for focus, storage, sitting down to read over some documents, or even a few yoga stretches to de-stress! A dream!
Don’t forget that kiddos need the same sort of function to create good habits of organization that last a lifetime. It’s proven that a dedicated homework space increases concentration and grades. This inexpensive additional made excellent use of space and gave much needed workspace for after school projects.
